Jams and Pickles
Jams and Pickles are the mainstay of any larder and at Ludlow we make a constantly changing range which follows the seasons.
Although the soft fruit crop has been materially affected by the appalling weather (the wettest summer since records began!) we have managed to secure sufficient quantities of fruit to make a representative range of jams and pickles throughout the coming year.
All of our pickles are made by natural reduction and the sweet onion balsamic confit is well worth a try. Next time you have one of our delicious sausages from the butchery, try putting a spoonful of the confit on top. On the other hand, if you are a mustard connoisseur, we produce three, all of which have been matured for a minimum of three months before they are bottled. If you want to transform a plate of cold meat try our beetroot and horseradish relish which is one of our top sellers.
We also make an extensive range of marmalade, including one using Lady Windsor's own family recipe.
