The Departments
At the Food Centre there are eight food workshops surrounding the shop floor, making an impressive array of goods free from additives and preservatives, including ice cream, cheese, bread, cakes, jams and pickles. You can actually see the goods being made whilst you are shopping, and there are always helpful and knowledgeable staff on-hand to answer those inevitable questions. In addition we have a delicatessen, a butchery department, and a coffee roasting room.
There is then a fully equipped kitchen servicing both the deli and Conservatory Barn Cafe, using meat and other ingredients sourced from within the Centre itself. Fresh produce is sourced locally and an ever increasing proportion of the items on sale are made on the premises.
