Production Kitchen Team Leader - Full Time
The Hairy Bikers called us a “farm shop on steroids” and we’ve won multiple national awards across our diverse product range including best Farm Shop in Britain. Our production kitchen makes everything from our famous fidget pie to a rhubarb crème brule supplying the farm shop with the Freshest, Local, Seasonal and Handmade food that our customers have grown to love.
As you can probably tell we strive to be the best. We’re looking for someone that shares this vision and our love of food to supervise our production kitchen.
Working to daily production schedules you will ensure our large range of products are made on time and as efficiently as possible.
You will be also be responsible for ensuring that our kitchen products are made to a consistent high standard in a safe and hygienic environment. Using your strong interpersonal and people management skills you will supervise and motivate the kitchen team.
Previous experience of leading a team in a kitchen environment is essential, as is a good knowledge of cooking techniques and good food. You will also need to be computer literate and have an understanding of working to budgets.

Full Time Chef de Partie
Ludlow Food Centre has a vacancy for an experienced Chef de Partie to work in The Ludlow Kitchen. Having worked on all sections you will have a strong knowledge of food. You will have a passion for producing quality food, be a great team player and be full of energy and enthusiasm.

Part Time Post Office/Newspaper Assistant
Ludlow Food Centre has a vacancy for a part time Post Office/Newspaper Assistant.
This is a part time position working on Rota to include weekends. You will work 3 out of 5 early mornings dealing with the newspapers and village shop, and you will also receive retail training, and post office counter training to cover the food centre shop and busy Bromfield post office were needed.
- You must be flexible and assist the Post Office supervisor and the food centre team to serve our customers politely and courteously
- Be accurate when inputting sales through the till and cash handling
- You will be required to liaise with Dawson’s newsagents to ensure the delivery of Newspapers and Magazines.
