Jams & Pickles
Our jams and pickles are made with the seasons when the ingredients are at their very best. Simple favourites like Shropshire strawberry or raspberry jam are available but we have also got a range of more unusual offerings. Darren Marsh and Tess Slater worked in Tesco until 2007 when they moved to the Food Centre to take control of our jam and pickle kitchen. The Food Centre has given them the opportunity to be creative and they have had unbelievable success. In 2009,10 and 11 they won gold award at the World Marmalade Festival. Their 3 fruit variety is current champion and is stocked in Fortnum & Mason amongst other premium quality food retailers. They now make over 30 varieties of jam, pickle, chutney and mustard of which a third have won awards.
