Cream tea at the Conservatory Barn Cafe

Conservatory Barn Café

The Conservatory Barn Café is adjacent to the Food centre and is open Monday-Saturday 9.30am-5.00pm and Sundays 10.30am-4.00pm. The cafe is light and airy offering diners a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy some of our tasty home cooked food. We cook a variety of homemade favourites using the best local ingredients and serve the freshest possible coffee.

We are supplied with the very finest quality beans by Mercanta, the coffee hunters who treat the growers as partners and manage the bean all the way from the tree to the cup. The beans are roasted and ground in the Food Centre and milk comes from our own dairy to ensure the freshest tasting coffee. All milky coffees are served ready to drink, as we heat the milk to just the right temperature to bring out its natural sweetness.

The menu changes daily and follows the seasons. Cold items can include our own range of pates, freshly prepared sandwiches and if you are hungry a pork pie ploughmans. Expect to be 'wowed' by the cheese ploughman’s that includes our own range of award winning cheeses and chutneys. Freshly cooked hot dishes can include lasagne, seasonally inspired quiches, steak and ale pie and soup of the day with a freshly baked roll . For a truly extravagant lunch why not follow any of these with one of our many desserts which include a range of traditional cakes, cheesecakes and our very own range of ice-cream.
