Ludlow Kitchen is our cafe and restaurant. It was redesigned and enlarged in 2013 and can now serve 140 people inside and a further 80 outside. Manager, Ben Crouch and his team share our love of fresh, local, seasonal and handmade food. Ben works closely with our producers at the Food Centre to source almost all his ingredients from our production kitchens. The menu at Ludlow Kitchen reflects the seasons and highlights the abundance of local produce we have here in Shropshire. You can expect to find hearty soups and stews in winter and light, fresh salads in summer. Head Chef, Damien McNamara, is passionate about creating comforting, familiar dishes with a creative twist.
Ben loves coffee and by working with Julie Hawkins our roaster at the Food Centre he is selling some of the freshest coffee in the country. Julie roasts our coffee twice a week so you can guarantee it is fresh. Ben spends time every morning adjusting our machine to the perfect setting so you get the perfect coffee every time you visit. Ben’s staff are welcoming, knowledgeable and love food so please ask them about the dishes on the menu, where the ingredients are sourced and how we prepare them. They can also advise on our wine selection which represents some of the best grape varieties in the world.
