Welcome To The Ludlow Food Centre
The Ludlow Food Centre is a unique food shopping experience where farming, food production and retailing infuse together to create a very special environment. We are part of the Earl of Plymouth’s Oakly Park Estate which extends to approximately 8000 acres of Shropshire countryside. All our beef, lamb and Gloucester Old Spot pork comes from the estate along with a selection of game and vegetables.
We are passionate about local food which is why 80% of the food we sell comes from Shropshire and the surrounding counties of Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Powys. These counties, which are represented by our diamond logo, produce an abundance of fresh, seasonal food that is full of flavour and in our opinion some of the best in the world.
The Food Centre is designed to not only sell food but to produce it and 50% of our products are made on the premises in kitchen units that surround the food hall. These are visible through glass windows that allow you to see our artisan producers actually making your food. Our food is honest, interesting and sometimes experimental but it will all stimulate your taste buds and leave you with a smile on your face.
